Welcome to Childrens' Ministries!

Tyler Seventh-day Adventist Church is actively committed to the spiritual growth and education of our children by providing Christ-centered activities/programming and age appropriate Bible-based teaching.

 

Programs offered are:

 

Sabbath School Classes: Sabbath School is offered every Saturday morning between 9:30 to 10:30 am. Classes are divided by age categories and offer appropriate learning activities for the target age group.

Beginner: (ages 0-3) This class offers fun songs and Bible stories with interactive props to help this age group stay engaged in learning about the God and the Bible. Lesson quarterlies containing the Bible lessons, simple scriptures called "Memory verses", and creative learning activities are provided for parents to enjoy with their child at home during the week. The little ones are given the opportunity to bring their "pennies" for Jesus and experience the fun of giving back to God. The class usually ends with a small snack and the children are given an age-appropriate magazine entitled My Little Friend to take home.

Kindergarten: (ages 4-5) This class offers fun songs, Bible stories, and craft projects to encourage a love for learning about God and the Bible. Children are encouraged to learn simple Bible texts called "Memory verses", and are given the opportunity to bring offering and learn the joy of giving back to God. The children are given an age-appropriate magazine entitled My Little Friend, which contains short stories, activities, and the Bible lesson for the next week, to take home.

Primary: (ages 6-9) This class offers singing, Bible lessons, special projects, and interactive discussion to facilitate study of God and the Bible for this active and eager age group. Children are given the opportunity to bring offerings and experience the joy of giving back to God, as well as, the excitement of learning how their offerings go to work for God. They are given an age-appropriate magazine, Primary Treasure, filled with stories, activities, and their Bible lesson for the next week.

Juniors: (ages 10-12) This class offers praise songs, Bible lessons, special projects, and interactive discussion to teach principles for a Christ-centered life and love for God and the Bible. Children are given the opportunity to bring offerings and experience the joy of giving back to God, as well as, the excitement of learning how their offerings go to work for God. Each child is given a very popular age-appropriate magazine called Junior Guide to read and enjoy.

Youth: (ages 13-17) This class offers praise songs, dynamic peer-driven discussion of Bible topics and Christ-centered living, and opportunity to build a health peer network. Youth are given the opportunity to bring offerings and experience the joy of giving back to God.
